I’m finally getting back to updates from my June trip, these are all on my Empire Builder trip starting in Washington heading across Montana and into North Dakota, a number of the updates are simply photos out the rear window that I decided to add to the already built station pages (or a few out windows) to help enhance those station’s photo essays. As always, my policy is that I have to set foot on the platform itself to count the station for its own homepage photo essay, I do like to supplement photos with techniques out the window and rear window shots:
- Vancouver, WA–(3 Photos added)–taken out the open door of the Empire Builder of its stop far away from the station itself
- Wishram, WA–(1 Photo)–Unfortunately wasn’t a fresh air stop on this trip but I had to add one out the window photo of daylight
- Pasco, WA–(33 Photos added)
- Whitefish, MT–(25 Photos)
- West Glacier, MT–(6 Photos)–just out the rear window
- East Glacier Park, MT–(8 Photos)–Just from the rear window of the train leaving
- Shelby, MT–(54 Photos)–We were a little early, I had enough time for a complete photo essay!
- Havre, MT–(26 Photos)
- Williston, ND–The Boomtown Crowds gave me enough time to step off the train and get a very quick photo essay
- Minot, ND–(15 Photos)–We were running late enough that this stop was in darkness not the final light of nightfall coming very late in western North Dakota (way west in Central Time)
Enjoy!
