Hammonton is an Atlantic City Line station with a single high-level side platform to the south of the single-track line. This station is located about a half-mile east of the historic depot building in Downtown Hammonton, but when rail service was restored in 1989 the station was moved out of downtown to allow for the building of a 228 space park and ride. This Park & Ride has sidewalk-less entrances at each end from Line Street to the west, which includes a tall Hammonton Station sign to attract drivers trying to find the station, and 11th Street to the West.
To reach the platform two staircases with a ramp in between them leads up to the high-level side platform that can accomidate 3 cars. This contains 2 Red waiting shelters, both containing benches, one also has a TVM. There are additonal benches (none are hostile) along the platform.
