Old Court is a Baltimore Metro SubwayLink station located at grade in some woods. The station contains a single double height canopy structure (with the station house and exit tucked inside of it) over the middle of the platform. The canopy is completely supported by supports along the tracks. A roadway runs across the platform along the Johns Hopkin's-bound track. This roadway isn't open to the public and is part of the network of driveways serving the Metro Maintenance Facility located just north of the station. Outside of this facility is a non-public grade-crossing over the main Metro Tracks connecting a couple of different buildings and maintenance areas just north of the station platform.

To leave the station, two combined staircase/up escalators and an elevator lead up to a small mezzanine area over the middle of the platform. This leads to a bank of turnstiles that connects with a 400 foot long footbridge. This footbridge is at the same level as the station mezzanine and contains a curving white roof over the bridge to provide some shelter.

The footbridge leads east from the metro line, crossing a meadow, followed by a creek, Gwynns Falls before arriving at a small bus loop (no ramp or steps required, it is at the same level as the station) located on the edge of the station’s 1300 parking space park & ride lot.

June 16, 2009;This lot has a single entrance for vehicles at the eastern most edge of the lot, opposite the station entrance out to Old Court Road with the station having its own dedicated traffic light. There is a pedestrian entrance with some steps up from the corner of the parking lot closest to the station up to Old Court Road as it is at a higher elevation at the start of its bridge over across Gywnns Falls and over the Metro line just south of the station.
