First it was a trip down to Brooklyn to Jay Street–(3 photos). I then continued for some final photos of the temporary platform that can only hold four-car G trains at Smith-9th Street–(17 photos) before that station is closed for almost a year on June 20. Next I got on a R68! (since when?) G […]

Upload: Amtrak Station photos from my latest trip

Here are the stations I had the pleasure of photographing during my train trip east, I’ve also finally created some station to station click tables (like what most other systems now have) in the style of the new Amtrak standardized signage that has been popping up at so many smaller stations (you can now click […]

Upload: 5 more for the West End Line – Brooklyn is Almost Done!

Well I thought I would have no time for the website due to all of the end of senior year social events, with my thesis finished and in a class with very little reading I have time on my hands and as I get frustrated with my computer for being unable to find any of my Rockies images that it has appeared to lose when I had it repaired I decided to get back to my Brooklyn roots and work on the 7 D Train West End Line Stations I am still missing. Here are four of them:
62 Street(37 photos), 71 Street(26 photos), 79 Street(13 photos), 18 Avenue(13 photos), 20 Avenue(22 photos)
Only 3 more to go before Brooklyn is complete! (which means I actually have to come up with an introductory page for the borough with the most subway stations, and a way to display all of the stations).

Amtrak to Phoenix-the Flying Southwest Chief and a Van Thruway Connection

Greetings from the Fair Trade Café just north of Downtown Phoenix! After the last blog post, my Rail Runner Train arrived at the amazing Belen station parallel to the main, high-speed BNSF transcontinental multi-modal rail line, although rail runner’s single stub track ends and there is fence so trespassers can’t wonder over to the area […]
