In this update I present the rest of the red lines route as it goes over the Charles River on one of the most scenic short stretches of the T (Charles/MGH) to a just beneath the surface subway through Caimbridge that opened in 1912, to the second newest section of subway in Boston, the 3 stop deep underground extension (including the deepest MBTA station, Porter at 105 feet beneath the surface) to Boston’s largest Park-n-Ride Lot at the terminus Alewife:
