Davis is the stop for Tufts University and was opened in 1984. The stop has a single island platform for the two tracked line with concrete walls and towards its ends angled benches with panels of artwork in the middle of them. Towards the center of the station is the one fare control area where two up escalator/staircases and an elevator lead up to a small level above the tracks that here have a higher vaulted ceiling, and to the one bank of faregates that leads to a walkway canteleverd over the inbound track with the stations two exits on eitherside of College Avenue with a small MBTA busway on the eastside and street elevator. These are each in there own small brick buildings.
