Well in this update I present all of the stations in Queens with regular service (I still need Mets-Willets Point and Belmont Park (guess I’ll have to go to the races at some point). Its five on the main line, 3 are rebuilds.
First are the four relatively straight forward LIRR only stations:
- Kew Gardens–(page rebuilt with 31 new photos)
- Forest Hills–(page rebuilt, a summery added along with 37 photos)
- Hunterspoint Avenue–(12 photos)
- Long Island City–(Page Rebuilt with 12 additional photos)
And, finally a station that I had immense trouble on deciding the page layout for, that would warrant its own update due to the fact the mezzanine level is shared between the LIRR and NYC Subway (I gave it its own page branded to both sections of my website) (61 St-)Woodside! Here the 3 pages for this intermodal 3 level elevated subway/rail hub:
- Woodside-LIRR Platform–(31 photos)
- Woodside’s Shared Mezzanine/ Station House Area–(20 photos, plus 2 of one art for transit installation and 4 of the other)
- 61 Street-Woodside (Subway)–(page rebuilt with 9 new photos)
Enjoy the over 150 new photos!
One reply on “Upload: the Rest of the LIRR in Queens – including Lots of Woodside”
I spotted a typo. It was Dimitri Gerakaris who did the iron railings at Woodside
