Levittown, originally Levittown-Tullytown opened in 1953 (replacing the original Tullytown Station) is the last stop in Pennsylvania before SEPTA trains continue one stop into New Jersey and terminate at the Trenton Transit Center (with New Jersey Transit connections). The station has two low-level side platforms along the four track Northeast Corridor. Wooden boards allow trains to stop on the inside express tracks normally used by Amtrak during track work or other service disruptions. A fence is in the middle of the station to try and keep passengers from illegally crossing the tracks.

The platforms each have relatively modern, green canopy structures that cover about a car length. Attached to this canopy on the Philadelphia-bound platform is a stone station house (with some cinderblock peeking out) that houses a small ticket office and waiting room open during weekday AM hours from 5:30 to 11:30am.

The platforms are connected by staircases that lead down to a white walled arched pedestrian tunnel. The staircases have white windscreens enclosing them and are at the northern end of the canopy. This makes the tunnel feel a bit claustrophobic. The station has a total of 382 free parking spaces, nearly all along the Philadelphia-bound platform along the Bristol Pike, Levittown Parkway and Fallsington Avenue cut through the parking lot. The Levittown Shopping Center is across Bristol Pike from the station, but the intersection has a bunch of No Pedestrian signs although a sidewalk that leads to the station. The Trenton-bound platform has one walkway to it from the dead end of Oxford Avenue passed a very small parking lot. These are just before Fallsington Avenue goes crosses over the Northeast Corridor on Bridge.

From 2015 through 2018 the station underwent a $37.3 million renovation that fully rebuilt the station to be a modern high platform station, complete with a pedestrian bridge (with elevators) replacing the former pedestrian tunnel that has been sealed up and is no longer in passenger use.
