Summit Avenue on the 'B' branch (there is also a still open Summit Avenue Station on the 'C' Branch) is another one of the 'B' branch stations closed on April 20, 2004 to increase train speeds and decrease travel times. The outbound platform still has a stretch of concrete used for boarding passengers while the inbound platform has a locked green box for all that remains. There are also the faded signs along the fence between the tracks informing passengers that trains are not stopping at the station any longer.
