Elmwood Park is a Milwakee West Line Station, skipped by the North Central Service. The stop has two low-level side platforms for the line which has 3 tracks here with the middle track bypassing the station. The platforms begin at the grade-crossing of 75th Avenue and run west. The platforms extend to 76th Avenue, although this street is split in two by the railroad along with 75th Court in the middle of the station. The station has no ticket office but does have a large brick shelter-style station house (all walls are glass) with a gabled roof on the Inbound platform, and a smaller brick shelter in the same style which covers to exposed benches. Shelters of the same design are found at Mont Clare. The Inbound platform is along Marwood Avenue, which provides most of the stations 140 parking spaces in angled street parking spaces.
