Bensonville is a Milwaukee West Line Station at the Southwest Corner of O'Hare International Airport, and the new Runway 10R which opened on October 15, 2015. The railroad has been passing through Bensonville a lot longer than the airport has existed. The current station consists of two side platforms that run between the grade-crossings of Addison Street and Center Street, with additional sections of platforms east of Center Street (running halfway to the grade-crossing of York Road). The station has a small brick station house with a green spanish tile roof on the Inbound platform. Inside is a waiting room with cream cinderblock walls and a ticket office that was permanently closed on April 15, 2016 (there is still a closure sign in the window). Both platforms also have two shelters each with Green Spanish tiled roofs for waiting passengers. Parking is in a small lot on the Inbound side of the station. The Outbound platform is basically an extra-wide sidewalk of parallel Main Street that has angled parking along the platform.
