Wood Dale is a Milwaukee West Line Station with two low-level platforms, that begin at oddly-angled grade-crossing of Irving Park Road and run east. Sidewalk Fencing requires pedestrians walking on the south side of Irving Park Road to walk via the station platforms using one of the two pedestrian grade-crossings along the platforms to continue walking straight. The Outbound platform no platform amenities. The Inbound platform has a modern brick prairie-style station house with a taller area with a modernist clock located on it that was dedicated on February 9, 2010. Inside is a modern passenger waiting area but no ticket office. The station is left open unstaffed. The inbound platfrom also has one black shelter with a gabled roof covering a bench. Station parking is all along the Inbound platform in a large lot to the south and continuing east of the platform.
