Rogers Avenue is an elevated Baltimore Metro SubwayLink Station on a concrete viaduct. The station provides connections to seven bus routes. The station's single island platform contains a canopy structure that has support beams on each side of the trackway, with no support beams directly on the platform. This canopy structure contains a flat roof over the trackways and over the platform at each end of the canopy. Glass skylights run above the middle of the platform. Passengers can wait in a number of silver enclosed on three of four sides with glass shelters both under the platform's canopy and at the exposed ends of the platform.

To leave the platform, two escalators, a staircase and an elevator at the end of the mezzanine opposite the exit (near the southern end of the platform) lead down to a central mezzanine beneath the platform. The actual fare control area is fully enclosed and located towards the northwestern end of the platform. Here automatic doors provide entry at both ends with the faregates in the middle, along with TVMs.

To reach the street there are just two options. There is a bank of two escalators that are straight ahead and lead down to the northern end of a bus loop with its central island for boarding passengers located directly beneath the station platform above. The bus loop is in a bit of an open cut under the Metro Station's mezzanine and below the grade of the nearby streets and parking lots. A bridge leads from the mezzanine over the bus loop and directly to the edge (with ADA parking spaces) of the smallest of three parking lots containing 900 parking spaces. The station's second parking lot is much larger and located at a slightly higher grade. These parking lots plus the bus loop all have driveway access at their eastern ends (way beyond the station) from Hayward Avenue and Eldorado Avenue.

From this bridge's arrival at the western edge of this parking lot is the station's main pedestrian exit. Here a short sidewalk (plus another ramp down to the edge of under platform bus loop) leads out to Rogers Avenue with additional bus stops on each side of Rogers Avenue. A short path beyond here leads to the northern and final station parking lot. This parking lot is between the train station and Northern Parkway, with Metro SubwayLink's train yard just north of here across Northern Parkway, this means a third siding track is along this parking lot starting just beyond the subway line's bridge over Rogers Avenue. This parking lot also contains another bus loop with a few bus stops (with a portion of the parking lot in the middle of the bus loop). Access to this parking lot is entirely from Wabash Avenue a good third of a mile from the entrance to the other bus loop and parking lots.

The extensive and underutilized parking lots at this station make it a good candidate for a new Transit Oriented Development. This is something MTA Maryland is already planning to do.
