McCormick Road (yes, it is named after the spice company) is a single-tracked Light Rail Stop located in the middle of a suburban office park. The station platform contains grade-crossings at either end, just beyond the mini-high platforms at either end of the platform. At the eastern (railway north end) of the station the tracks curve across McCormick Road and then follow it north. The western end of the platform just has a grade-crossing into the driveways into a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Warehouse.
The crossing over the public road has gates. The driveway crossing just lights. The sidewalks to these platforms are the only (legal) way to access it with a grassy berm separating it from the driveway of the warehouse above.
The only platform amenity is a single 8 panes of glass wide now painted black shelter with a circular roof covering a bench and TVMs in the middle of the platform. This shelter is directly between where the normally single LRV long trains stop at each end of the platform since the platform can accommodate three car trains.
Across from the light rail platform a nearby office park is located across the street from the station down a bit of a steep hill and is signed with “No Pedestrian sign and Steep Slippery Hill, Trespass at your own risk.” There is a path that has a staircase up to Schilling Court but it connects to no sidewalk directly but I'm sure plenty of people just cross against the light and then cross the ballast track to enter the light rail platform.
