Montrose Avenue has some of the most colorful BMT station trim lines, with many different colors part of the pattern. It's hard to give a color theme to it, possibly blues, their the standard little Ms inside of it.
The station's entrance is via single narrow mezzanine with a cross-over towards the center of the station. Two staircases lead up from each platform to the turnstiles. The lead up to two street stairs up to the NW and NE corners of Montrose Avenue and Bushwick Avenue.
