One of the most impressive grade separated in the 1910s 3 track railroads I know of is the ex-Lackawanna Main Line. This line still carries New Jersey Transit’s second busiest to the Northeast Corridor Morris & Essex Lines that consist of the Morristown Line and Gladstone branch away from Newark west. This update includes the six stations located in ‘The Oranges’ all are historic (on the National Register of Historic places) although two of them I want to revisit to get better interior photos of their ticket offices and waiting rooms when they are actually open. This is also the first update on the Morris & Essex Lines, I can finally say that I have at least one station on every NJ Transit branch except for the Atlantic City line, the only line I haven’t even ridden. This entire update was taking during a long walk in January 2012.
