Although at home I’ve been focusing on Chicago (finally finished as of yesterday), I have had an unlimited in my wallet and have been making plenty of subway photo stops. In this update I present stops along the R train where it runs via the Lower Manhattan Tunnel, and along 4th Avenue:
- Cortlandt Street–(11 photos added of the station, 3 of the artwork)
- Rector Street–(14 Photos Added)-This station now has a clear summery and supplemental photos
- R platform at Jay Street-MetroTech–(2 Photos) and The transfer to the IND–(4 photos) – Including the only Exit Only Escalator on the Subway System, it has gotten real signs since the transfer opened (Originally there was a hand written one warning straphangers on the staircase by accident)
- Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center (formerly Pacific Street)–(6 photos)
- Prospect Avenue–(8 Photos Added)
- 25 Street–(9 Photos Added)-What is this weird booth?
- 36 Street–(6 Photos Added)
- 45 Street (R)–(9 Photos Added)-It’s Entrances have these unique vertical tubes, lit by florescent lights that have Subway written on them.
