First this old sign I photographed at West 4th Street–(3 photos) on my way home today, it has been there for about a year after a newsstand was removed.
Yesterday the new entrance that leads directly to the main entrance to the Barclays Center opened at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center (IRT)-(44 Photos) and I visited. The new entrance connects directly to both the IRT and Brighton Line B,Q–(6 photos) platforms. At street level the entrance has a unique roof with grass planted on it and blends quite nicely with the brown roof of the new arena. I was quite impressed by it overall, my one complaint being that the token booth has just one agent position and there are only four MVMs for post game idiots with empty MetroCards, I bet more MVMs will be added soon to accommodate the crowds.
I also added photos to Atlantic Avenue: Lower Mezzanine–(5 photos), and the Upper Mezzanine–(1 photo), also Hoyt Street-Fulton Mall–(1 Photo)
