Riverton is a River LINE station located in the middle of the town of Riverton (that directly borders and shares urban fabric with Palmyra, the Palmyra station is just a half-mile, ten minute walk away). The station consists of a single-track with a single platform located on the east side of it. The station has entrances at either end. The grade-crossing of Main Street is 24 angled parking spaces north of the northern platform entrance.

To the south the ramp leads down to a small circular plaza with some planters where Lippincott Avenue intersects with Broad Street (not crossing the railroad tracks). There is a small grassy median here with a historical sign honoring Riverton’s Bicycle Track, a bicycle track that existed in the station area from 1894 through 1896, that was the end of the 150 mile tri-state relay race on June 8, 1895. There is a also a sign from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for the Suburban Greening Award for the plantings around the station area. Just south of this entrance area, a further 24 railroad passenger angled-parking spots along Broad Street leads down to the grade-crossing of Thomas Avenue.
