Mount Tabor is a small, low-ridership Morristown Line Station just a half mile south of Denville. Train service is extremely infrequent with many trains skipping the station and 3 to 4 hour gaps in train service. The station's closure would be unsurprising. The stop consists of a short three car long low-level platform along only the eastern northbound track of the two track line. A wooden boarding level-crossing is used for trains stopping on the opposite southbound track. This platform begins at the grade-crossing of Station Road and runs north with the station's small 49 space parking lot. The one amenity for waiting passengers is a simple silver bus shelter with a bench inside. A TVM was installed around 2012 (after my visit). Across from the platform Lackawanna Avenue is parallel to the tracks.
