Harlem Valley-Wingdale is a stop on the Wassiac extension of the Harlem Line after electrified service ends at Southeast (Brewster North). It is located on the former site of the Harlem Valley State Hospital. Originally the stop was a flag stop called state Hospital, with Wingdale a second small station in the town less than a mile north of this station. The stops were combined with the former State Hopsital station renamed Harlem Valley-Wingdale. The stop recieved high-level platforms and was made wheelchair accessible in 1997.

Like the rest of the Wassaic Branch this station usually receives service every two hours via a three Shoreliner Car and Locomotive shuttle train from Southeast with only a one-seat ride during peak hours. The station is located in what seems like the middle of nowhere. There is decent sized parking lot across from the quite new looking high level platform, and a smaller one alongside the platform. There is also a large indistrial building, diagonally across from the station that is only other amenity. At the northern end of the station is the grade-crossing of Wheeler Road that provides the only way to get across the single track to the parking lot.
