Campello is an intermediate stop on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line and is the southern Park & Ride station for the city of Brockton, Massachusetts, named after a historical village that was incorporated into this city. The station consists of a single high-level platform for a single-track line and is located on the edge of a 522 space parking and ride. The station opened with the restoration of service on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line and the tracks were depressed allowing the platform to be on the same-level as the park and ride lot. This allows just bollards (for the passenger pick-up and drop-off area in the middle of the platform) or low-lying tubular bumper stops when parking spaces back-up directly onto the platform to prevent cars from driving onto the platform with basically continuous access (as if the platform were a low-level platform).
Access to the park and ride lot is from the southern side of the parking lot. Here a driveway leads through some trees past some industry from Plain Street. There is a closed entrance to the northern end of the parking lot (right alongside the tracks) from Riverside Avenue that was closed off with water barrels when I visited in 2024.
