Braeside is the southernmost stop out of 4 in Highland Park. The stop is skipped by most Express Trains. The stop consists of two side platforms for the two track line that begin at Lake Cook Road and run north. This grade-crossing provides the only pedestrian connection between the platforms. Passenger amenties are a woden white shelter on the Outbound platform and a small brick warming hut (with vending machines inside) but no restrooms on the Inbound platform. The Inbound platform has steps off it down a small parking lot and St. Johns Avenue. The outbound platform steps down to minimal parking along parrallel Blackhawk Road.
