Hanson Park is a Milwakee West Line Station, skipped by the North Central Service which follows the same tracks and passes through the station. The station only recieves limited weekday service with no service on weekends. The line here has three tracks, located on the northern edge of large freight yard, just west of the Central Avenue bridge across the main line and rail yard. The station has two side platforms each with a small brick and green gabled roof shelter. All station access is from the northern Outbound platform from parrallel Armitage Avenue which follows the tracks. A pedestrian crossing in the middle of the platforms leads across to the south Inbound platform nestled between the mainline and yard. A staircase leads down from the Central Avenue bridge to Armitage Avenue near the start of the platforms.
