The Canada Line is SkyTrain's newest line opening in 2009 in time for the 2010 Olympics. The line uses completely incompatible driverless technology with single two articulated cars Rotem EMUs. It is operated under contract by a completely different concession operator (Protrans BC) than the older Expo and Millennium Lines, and uses completely different technology that is incompatable with the Expo and Millennium Lines. Much more of this line is underground (all the stops north of Marine Drive) and stations include more modern features such as countdown clocks.
