Bridgeport consists of a single, quite elevated island platform that is crucial to transfers because the two branches of the Canada Line split just beyond the station. At each end of the station is a complex network of switches and tracks. The southern end is the splitting of the branches, at the northern end is where switches lead to tracks to the Canada Line's train yard and maintenance facility before the main line rises up to cross the Fraser River. One is off to serve YVR Airport, the other down to Richmond-Brighouse. The platform has a simple off-white metal roof and a staircase, staircase/up escalator and independent elevator lead to a large lower mezzanine. On this mezzanine is where the fare paid area begins and a short elevated walkway leads to a parking garage and the River Rock Casino Resort. The main exit is via an elevator, staircase/up escalator down to street level with a bus loop just beyond Great Canadian Way.
