El Camino Real is located on the western most stretch of double tracking on the line. It has two side platforms to serve trains west of the grade-crossing with El Camino Real. The two platforms each have three of the standard blue canopies and are connected via pedestrian grade crossings at each end with an unnecessary fence running between the two high platforms. These crossing each have crossing lights and bells. The station's only entrance is in the middle of the north, Oceanside-bound platform. Here a wooden footbridge leads across a wash (only running with water after storms) to the southern side of the station's parking lot. Here is where another canopy covers the station's only TVMs, (and where the compass card targets are) in a small concrete plaza with a bus stop leading to a long and narrow parking lot between this entrance and Industry Street.
