Duarte/City of Hope has a single island platform for the two track Gold Line that begin at the grade-crossing of Highland Avenue and run west. The platform has two canopy structures that cover more than three-quarters of the platform. Exits are at both ends of the platform and are via ramps that lead up to small canopied platform entrances (where TVMs and tap targets are) before the platform begins. The eastern exit leads to the middle of the Highland Avenue grade-crossing, the western end leads to a pedestrian grade-crossing over the southern, Azusa track and a short ramp/staircase down to Duarte Avenue.

Artwork: Spirit of the San Gabriel River by Andrea Mykleburst and Stanton Sears, are pavers and most notbily 4 hand-carved limestone capitals sent on seven foot tall metal pillars with various depictions of inspired by geography and history of the area.
