26th Street/Bergamot is a stop on the Expo Line, located on the southern side of Olympic Blvd, with two side platforms that begin at the grade-crossing of 26th Street and run east ending at a pedestrian grade-crossing. The Exposition Corridor Bike path runs between the Santa Monica-bound platform and the station.
Access to each platform is different. The Los Angeles-bound platform has a wide central entrance area in the middle of the platform where it gets wider. Here there are TVMs and a clear line of Tap readers. At each end of this area a ramp leads down to each of the grade-crossings and the sidewalk of 26th Street at the western end. There are short staircases up at each end of the Los Angeles-bound platform by the grade-crossings that should lead up TAP readers as more-efficient secondary entrances but these are gated up and are emergency exits.
Access to the Santa Monica-bound platform is much more direct. There is a ramp up to the western end of the platform from the SW corner of 26th Street and Olympia Blvd, TVMs are located along the bike path below this ramp, followed by bike racks and a few silver bike boxes. At the eastern end of the platform there is an open staircase up from the pedestrian crossing, followed by another bank of TVMs along the bike path and then a second ramp that leads up to the middle of the platform.
