The Neck Road Station has two quite narrow side platforms for a four-tracked Brighton Line express station. These both have standard cream-painted windscreens along their entire lengths. There is a canopy only towards the center of the station's platforms.
The station's single exit is beneath the tracks at street level between the platforms, two staircases lead down from each of the platform to a small underpass area. This and the doors out from the small station house are built directly underneath the embankment lead out to the northern sidewalk of Gravesend Neck Road (technically the full name of Neck Road) between East 15 and 16 Streets. The station house has the station's small bank of turnstiles and token booth. The station's entrance along the street has a nicely bricked walls.
The station underwent a rebuilding project from 2008 through 2010 with first all Coney Island-bound trains skipping the station followed by all Manhattan-bound trains. Each platform now has only one wide staircase for exiting passengers that leads down first to two High Exit only turnstiles from the Coney Island-bound platform, and a High Exit Only, and Entrance turnstiles from the Manhattan-bound platform, these lead directly out to the sidewalk. Modern doors lead into the storefront like station house where the turnstiles are before the doors out to the street. All of the nicely bricked walls have remained intact. The windscreens have been replaced with more modern cream with the Green lines design.
