Well as the lengthly title illustrates this afternoon I had a chance to continue with the Brighton line southward, towards Coney Island. These 4 stations have all just begin complete rebuilding and all of my photos were taken in the past year or two of their shabbiness with character that hopefully the renovations will maintain in someway (I mean I hope the MTA doesn’t make each stop look exactly the same, each (with the exception of Avenue J and M together) are just such unusual subway stations. So here the four stations, continuing down the line. One’s still in a open-cut (trench), one’s basically at ground level, and the final two are on an embankment.
All Little Bonus: All of these stations I photographed when the R40-Slants were still plentiful on the B-Brighton Line Express, so this update includes both retired subway cars and stations that are undergoing massive changes
Here the four stations continuing south on the Brighton Line:

I now feel very confident that the Brighton Line will be finished, quite possibly by the end of Friday, so keep looking at this blog for the latest news! I’m in an update frenzy now! Five more stations to go on the Brighton Line! It’s Block Break! for anyone who knows about Colorado College where I currently am.
