The Chicago ‘L’ Green Line is the only line that is through routed the loop (the northern and western portions) in this update I present the southern (Ravenswood, East 63rd) Stations or at least those stations that are left, the main line with the two southern branches originally had up to 30 stations but this number has dwindled over the years (some did deserve to be closed for faster service, others didn’t) and today there are just ten left!
Here are all ten, all but one (from 1969) modernized in the 1990s destroying historic station houses:
- 35th-Bronzeville-IIT–(19 Photos)

- Ashland/63rd–(12 Photos) — a station house and bus loop straight out of the 1960s!
