Running an Errand Today and Stopping For More Artwork Pictures

Well today I had to run an errand downtown on William Street that gave me a chance to use (and photograph ) the first new improved entrance to open as part of the Fulton Street Transit Center with a nice big plaque. I then wondered the area a bit getting station entrance photos so I can soon make my pages for that station, and get a nice pre Transit Center Summery written although the stop is a total mess right now. Next I wanted to revisit to get more pictures of the artwork at a few stops and didn’t have an unlimited. First I took the 4 train to 59 Street(4 new photos of the artwork) then doubled back to 51 Street(9 photos of the art), transferred to the E,M and Lexington Avenue(8 photos of the artwork and 2 more of the station), and took it one stop to 5 Avenue(4 pictures of the oil painting and 14 of the 53rd Street Art Stop). I had to leave fare control to photograph the oil painting and from there I didn’t feel like paying again so I walked up to 63rd Street and got on the F train at Lexington using my free transfer at that loophole station, getting a needed photo essay of all the plywood on the platforms due to 2nd Avenue subway construction. Then it was a downtown F to 47-50 Streets to an uptown B to and uptown A.
