Well I’ve finally reached another relatively small milestone for the website, I’ve just finished the final 3 underground subway stations in Brooklyn. There the unusually stacked Eastern Parkway Line, the two local stops are exactly the same and Utica Avenue is a terminus with its platforms stacked.
Here are the three new stations:
Nostrand Avenue (16 photos)
Kingston Avenue (16 photos)
Utica Avenue (a rebulit page with 21 additional station photos and 16 of the artwork) |
Enjoy! I haven’t decided what section I’ll do next. (But it will be something to help finish of Brooklyn, or perhaps Queens)

I just read something about the art at Utica avenue that’s not on your website: There’s bronze medallions on the fare control railings.
Well, I saw that on-line too but don’t remember seeing them when I was at the station. It’s entirely possible they’ve been removed from the fare control fencing.
I would love if someone else could confirm the answer to this question! (or if the medallions have been removed, when were they removed)
I spotted a misprint on the Utica avenue page: The art link has the description for the art at Church avenue.
Thanks for noticing that error, I’ve fixed the page accordingly, Since I’m making so many pages, so frequently it’s hard to catch every single typo.
Everyone, Please, please please, comment or e-mail me, of any errors on my website
