In Albany, on my way to Chicago, waiting for the late Boston Section of Lake Shore Limited to arrive

Well, here’s my first post as I am currently making my way from New York to Chicago to visit relatives and for some CTA railfanning. It was an uneventful trip up the Hudson on the New York Section of the Lake Shore Limited, we arrived in Albany five minutes early with no sign yet (it was supposed to arrive at 5:35 ET) of the Boston Section, and the arrival monitor in the station says it will be two hours late. For those who are interested the New York Section currently has Three Amfleet-II coaches, an Amfleet-II that’s serving as the dining car (and did limited carry-out cafe car service on the quick trip to Albany) , although I heard no announcements for dinner, but seems to be serving dinner as were stuck in Albany waiting.

Anyway I’m currently in the station building using the Wi-Fi of the cafe in the building, unfortunately I couldn’t get Wi-Fi from the train itself as were stopped. So I’ll see when I get the next update as I go back downstairs to walk around.
