Upload: The missing three stations on the 4th Avenue Subway

Here are the three missing stations: 36 Street (9 photos of the station and hopefully photos of the artwork coming soon), 25 Street (9 photos), Prospect Avenue (16 photos)

In this update I present the three stations I was missing on the 4th Avenue Subway between Pacific Street and 95th Street, so now that main line of the subway is continuous! All of these local stops still have there 1960s era ciderblock looking walls renovations, unlike many of the Manhattan Broadway Line Stations (all except for Rector Street) that have been renovated again in the early 2000s, the ciderblock walls taken down and the old 1910s name tablets and trim lines exposed.

Anyway here are the three missing stations:

Prospect Ave Prospect Avenue (16 photos)
25 Street 25 Street (9 photos)
36 Street 36 Street (9 photos of the station and hopefully photos of the artwork coming soon)

NOTE: I realize that there no photos of the Artwork on the mezzanine at 36th Street, I’m planning to try and visit the station at some off-hours time when it won’t be so crowded so I can get some decent photos of the mosaic murals

Next up: I haven’t decided yet, perhaps the rest of the IND in Brooklyn, now that the MTA’s website has word that the G is being extended to Church Avenue effective July 5th (see here for the page on the MTA’s website, in addition the official subway map has been updated to reflect this and the 5’s midday extension to Flatbush Avenue)
