Subway Portraits 2017, 10 are made of Glass mosaics, 2 are mad of ceramic tiles

These are 12, 9 foot tall mosaic portraits along the mezzanine, entrance areas and the street-level at the upper landing of of the 83 Street escalator exit, include two self-portraits of the artist and primarily other famous people including musician Lou Reed, composer Philip Glass, painter and artists Cecily Brown, Zhang Huan, Pozsi Kolor, Cindy Sherman, Sienna Shields, Kara Walker. There is also one of a baby, the artist niece. The plaques by each mosaic portraits are generally just the person's first name (which are in the captions below).
