Oak Street/SW 1 Avenue is located just after the tracks for the two directions rejoin each other after separating to run through the rest of downtown and travel north with a few more stops in downtown before reaching the Steel Bridge to cross the Willamette River. The station is a sidewalk stop on SW 1 Avenue, here only open to LRVs between Oak and Stark Street. The platforms do have amenities with two glass roofed steel canopies on the westbound platform and one on the eastbound platform each with TVMs beneath.
