Lines of raised mosaic Marble text line the walls, floor to ceiling of both platforms. This text contains the text of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the 1948 United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The station walls fit right into the fact the subway station is right next to the footprints of the former World Trade Center Towers and the 9/11 Memorial that has been built on the site of the towers.
