Sky is a memorial piece to John Lennon made by his widow interactive artist Yoko Ono, who was murdered while entering his apartment building, the Dakota, located directly above this station. The installation consists of mosaic murals of blue sky and clouds above and near the staircases connecting both platforms. Text in the murals say "Remember Love," "Dream," or "Yes".
