Coquitlam Central Station has a single side platform along the line with a metal canopy and glass windscreens over one station that is two tracks in the area raised up on an embankment. This platform runs between the railway bridge over Lougheed Highway and the highway bridge over the railroad of Mariner Way.
All access to the platform is via a pedestrian tunnel at the outbound end of the platform. Entry to this tunnel is via a ramp and staircase and leads to a glass pavilion entrance (where the TVMs are) on a car drop off loop below the huge bus transit center in a large concrete lot where serving 13 bus bays (including originally one right along the train station used by the TrainBus) and 20 bus routes converge. The most direct entrance is up from the sidewalk of Lougheed Highway
This station was not affected by the building of the SkyTrain Millennium Line, the station is exactly the same with the entrance to the SkyTrain around the corner of the original kiss & ride loop by the station entrance. The entrance looked the same when I visited in 2022 as when I visited in 2011 and even has an original yellow text on purple station sign on the outside. The new Compass Vending machines are behind 2nd generation West Coast Express signs saying tickets with the only modern format signs on the platform itself (replacing the original signs).
