Middlefield has a single island platform for the two-track line located on its own, private ROW. The platform has two green canopy structures that include windscreen benches for waiting passengers. This platform is accessed via grade crossings at each end. The western end is in the middle of Middlefield Road. The eastern end is for pedestrians only, complete with slam gates and leads to paths between parking lots and into surrounding office park buildings, some abandoned.
