Melrose Drive is a single-track SPRINTER station with the platform north of the track. The platform has 3 canopies and is about ten steps beneath its 200 space parking lot which wraps around the SW corner of Oceanside Blvd and Melrose Drive and an AM/PM gas station actually at that corner of the intersection. All platform access is from a wide staircase in the middle of the platform (where the TVMs are) and 3 ramps that wrap around slightly in the middle and at each end of the platform. A sidewalk is along the southern end of this parking lot and provides access to the grade-crossing of Melrose Drive about 100 yards east of the platform.
