Allen

is a station in the median of the Foothill Freeway (I-210) with a single island platform. Starting at the western end of the platform; there is just a line of black lampposts and red benches before a canopy begins for the the length of one LRV and continues with the platform ending (yielding to fences on each side). This, at the eastern end of the platform is where the one entrance is, a staircase, followed by two elevators lead down to a tiny alcove on the west side of Allen Street's underpass. There are turnstiles now (installed just after my visit) in this area and a few TVMs off to one side in this alcove. Surrounding he turnstiles here is the main place (there are also a few sculptures on the station platform) where Rider's Dream by Michael Amescuais installed. It consists of mostly green ironwork invoking nature, the sun and the moon. Behind it, the area around the station entrance is tiled in gold.
