Cast Bronze
By Ed Kopel

Bronze Rocking chairs, permanently bolted to the ground are arranged on the porch of the historic singled wooden cottage (originally built to sell Real Estate in the surrounding community of Fiske Terrace) along the street at Avenue H. These bronzed chairs in various sizes and styles from the turn of the 20th Century, encourage the community to gather and sit under the porch of this landmarked, unique for the New York City Subway station house.
