The first Amfleet-II Coach, the Viewliner and the diner pulled by 3 P42s pass
An Amfleet-II Lounge Car, the last car of the Boston Section of the Lake Shore Limited passing, the conductor has opened up the back door to wave
P42 #91 (how fitting its the Interstate Highway the train follows) leads the Southbound Vermonter for a few more yards as it curves into the junction point at Palmer where its direction will reverse from the NECR main line
P42 #91 keeps entering
A conductor or engineer hops off to walk over to the second switch over the CSX line
The Engineers step off to begin switching ends
Another employee station's himself to throw the first switch
P42 #91 slowly begins moving again, the last few feet of its time as the lead locomotive
The train switches onto the CSX main line
This conductor is stationed to reset the switch to the previous position once the train is done switching
P42 #51, currently the rear locomotive of today's Vermonter is almost done switching onto the main CSX line
The Vermonter runs beyond the switch to finish switching
The switch is reset
Lights go on on P42 #51 which will be the lead locomotive down to New Haven (where both P42s will come off to be replaced by an electric AEM7 or HHP-8)
P42 #91, now at the back of the Vermonter continues south down the CSX line
