900 South opened as an infill station on September 19, 2005. It looks like your typical near downtown Salt Lake City TRAX station with two black larger shelter structures on an island platform located in the middle of S 200 West, access to the station is via entrance crosswalks at either end of the platform from W 9000 South, and in the middle of the block via a pedestrian crosswalk. There is a scuplture in the middle of the platform of three posts with faces in them, and benches with mosaics on them. These are all part of Faces of the Neighborhood by Dan Cummings, Dinah Ihle, Kerry Transtrum, 2005
