Clearfield is another suburban station between subdivisions and is also the scheduled meeting point between trains with in each direction passing each other while in the station when running in every half-hour service. The station has the standard island platform, high-level towards its southern end and low-level towards its northern end. The platforms have two small shelters with the standard glass windscreens and benches beneath them. These both have marble looking pillars holding the roof up, complete with lights on the side that make them even impressive at night. There is also an impressive silver roof line on top of the shelters. There are the standard grade crossings at each end of the island platform that lead across entrance areas (where the TVMs are in there own little shelters) to a large 561 space parking lot. There is a bus loop at the southern crossing to 3 bus connections. A long access road leads past a warehouse surrounded by unused parking lots (that the station was built on part of it including its railroad access) out to State Street. There is no sidewalk along the access road, but a sidewalk along State Street.
