Almost finishing VTA Light Rail in daytime

Greetings from the Neto Café in downtown Mountain View where I have stopped to let my camera battery charge (both of which for the first time in awhile are dead at the same time, this is a problem I used to have before I got really good about charging) and have just six VTA Light Rail Stations left, four of which I’ll unfortunately have to get in darkness. I leave in three hours on the Coast Starlight up to Portland!
The rest of my ride on the San Joaquin was uneventful we got to Emeryville and fifteen minutes later I left on another random white bus that I noticed was chartered from San Francisco Airporter. I got off at the Financial District stop in front of the Hyatt and walked to a different youth hostel, USA Hostels San Francisco that had an equally overwhelming party room as the green tortoise, I got there around 10:45 and had a beer with some French tourists who were hard to talk to, not having great English.
This morning I made another dash and just caught the 8:59 Baby Bullet Express train down to San Jose. I got there at 9:56 picked up my ticket all the way to Vancouver, BC with less than 24 hour stopovers in Portland and Seattle saving me quite a bit of money and checked my bag. I got distracted with the chatty ticket agent and just missed the 10:05 train, the last of the AM rush down to Tamion (it and the stop just south of it I saved just to take Caltrain to, oh well). I walked over to the light rail station on the Winchester-Mountain View line that runs only running every half-hour and the train came in as I was buying my ticket. I hopped on and started my day spending the first half riding out to Alum Rock getting my station to station by 1:30 before riding back in and getting the shared corridor. Next was doing the long Mountain View corridor which I got until Evelyn (leaving me with Downtown Mountain View and Whisman) to photograph it when my camera finally died leaving me to ride out to Downtown Mountain View and find a café where I am updating you now.
