• September 29-30, 2011 — Whistler to Quesnel to Shelley to Jasper — Riding 3/4 of the Rainforest to Gold Rush (Fraser Discovery) Route:
  • Day 1, Part 1 Before a 10:00am Breakfast — An Early Start in Misty Whistler, Along Dead Salmon Infused Rivers and Green, Anderson, and Seaton Lakes
  • Day 1, Part 2 Between Breakfast and Lunch — Going through Lillooet and Rising Up onto the Cariboo Plateau Enjoying a Wine and Cheese Party
  • Day 1, Part 3 After a 2:30 Lunch — By Lac La Hache and Williams Lake, over a few more Trestles and a dark arrival into Quesnel
  • Just Half of Day 2 — Across Two High Trestles, through Golden Leaf Trees and Scrapyards of Prince George Until the Train Broke Down in Shelley
• A Wet Day in Jasper — An Awful Morning Bus Tour and Great Afternoon Rail Fanning
• Jasper to Lake Louise — A Disorganized Day Down the Icefields Parkway with a Stop on the Columbia Icefield and Ride on a Snow Coach
• Lake Louise to Banff — A Morning in Lake Louise and venturing to Banff via the Spiral Tunnels
• Final Day in the Canadian Rockies — Flying Through Them
• October 4-5, 2011 — Banff to Kamloops to Vancouver — Riding the Last Departure for 2011 of the First Passage to the West (Kicking Horse) Route
  • Day 1, Part 1 — Across the Divide and Through the Spiral Tunnels to Field
  • Day 1, Part 2 — own the Kicking Horse River and through Glacier National Park
  • Day 1, Part 3: The Dark Late Afternoon — Passing the Royal Canadian Pacific, Final Spike and Darkness along Shuswap Lake, Houseboat Capital of Canada
  • Day 2, Part 1: The Last Morning — A Short Walk to Kamloops Station, and Along the Thompson River to the Fraser Gorge
  • Day 2, Part 2: The Final Afternoon — Down the Fraser River, by Hells Gate and Through the Rail Yards For an Early Arrival into Vancouver
